FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

From Moscow to Miami, collectors will be gathering at nearly two dozen occasions of importance this fall. Photo NY has been named one of the bigger ones you wouldn't want to miss!

With over 40 installations by galleries, private dealers and artists from around the globe showcasing the finest new media, contemporary photography and photo based work, this fair is promised to be the end all in great finds. In conjunction with the fair exhibition, several seminars will be offered, exclusive on-site collecting lectures, as well as provocative artist installations.

{CTS} creative thriftshop is proud to participate in this year's events and is already being tagged as the "show highlight" and a "breakout young gallery". CTS will be featuring works by some of today's most sensational international artists.

Justine Reyes will be showing portraiture with her “Mask” series and Marya Kazoun will be including self-portraiture. Well-known Canadian duo Nick and Sheila Pye will present their intriguing video, “The Paper Wall,” in addition to the videos by Chloe Aftel and Emmanuella Gauthier. Magnus Sigurdarson has provided his “Mao” series of staged photography, which includes lyrics by his Icelandic schoolmate/musical superstar, Bjork. Exciting new edition to CTS, Guerra de la Paz will show pop art social commentary “The Last Supper” and “GI Joe” series. Newcomer Lai Chung Poon will present her interesting “Origami Diary” video.

CTS will also feature a flat file in which the following artists have each designed their own drawers of unique prints just for this fair: Alexander Reyna, Ward Yoshimoto, dopepope, Juan Doe, e-pill, Tootsie Cornrolls, Ian Wynn, and DOMA. Each artist curated his own drawer by creating 12 prints or works on paper for this show. Media in these graphic print portfolios ranged from silk screen to digital poster prints, comic strips, and bookmaking.
